Digital Fire Annunciator Display System

Efficiency and Precision in Fire Safety Management
The 48-Zone Alarm Encoder Unit or AEP-148 facilitates the operation of the Digital Fire Alarm Annunciator System by providing the interface between the alarm outputs of a Fire Alarm Control Panel or FACP and a number of compatible, remote Digital Annunciator Displays.
Seamless Integration for Ultimate Vigilance
The AEP-148 has forty-eight (48) dedicated alarm inputs to match with a 48-zone fire detection and alarm system. Each input can accept a voltage-free signal from the dry-contact alarm output of the FACP.
Real-Time Alert Mechanism
The AEP-148 continuously monitors the status of all alarm inputs during operation. When any of the alarm inputs is triggered, a corresponding 2-digit number or character that represents the particular zone or floor level is sent to all the connected remote annunciator displays for visual warning and identification.
Holistic Overview of Alarm History
The AEP-148 is capable of showing up to five (5) most recent alarms detected, by displaying the zone ID or floor level number in succession and at fixed interval. The status of all previously triggered alarm inputs as well as the last five recent alarms detected are recorded and stored in the internal non-volatile memory of the AEP-148. These alarm data can only be cleared or erased when a manual Alarm Reset is initiated.
Comprehensive Status Indication
The front panel of the AEP-148 has a set of status LED indicators and a local 2-digit display. The LED indicators provide instant visual check on fault and/or alarm conditions, and also shows the connection activity with the remote annunciator displays. In-built piezo buzzer provides audible alert during a fire alarm, or when a line “break” or communication error is detected.
Empowering Control and Response
Local pushbutton switches are also provided for convenience when performing lamp test on status LED indicators, local display, as well as on the remote annunciator displays. Other functions of the pushbutton switches include muting the piezo buzzer during an alarm, and resetting the alarm data memory.
Connectivity
Connection to the remote Annunciator Displays is made possible via an industry-standard, half-duplex 3-wire serial communications interface.
Two-Zone Security Alarm Monitoring System
SACP-2120 (Panel)
DSA-01 (Sensor)
NAD-1275 (Annunciator)
Constant Vigilance for Uncompromised Security
The SACP-2120 or simply referred to as SACP, is basically a two-zone Security Alarm Control Panel that continuously monitors up to two (2) separate, one-way emergency or fire exit doors of a warehouse or a residential/commercial building. Since the SACP is always in the “armed” or active state, it provides 24-hour surveillance to the protected area, and is ready to activate a set of notification and alarm devices whenever a sensor is triggered.
Seamless Integration for Superior Security
The SACP is the heart of the alarm system, and is where all the intrusion sensors, and ancillary alarm devices are wired and connected. Standard magnetic door contact switch (DSA-001) is used as an intrusion sensor to detect the open or close status of the door. The SACP has two (2) fuse-protected DC outputs to control and drive the external alarm devices. Each alarm device (NAD-1275) is comprised of a loud piezo siren and a high-bright LED signal lamp, to provide an effective audible and visual alert, respectively.
Immediate Alert and Response
To make the system robust, supervisory features are incorporated such that when any of the control wires going to the alarm devices breaks open or is deliberately shorted while idle, the SACP will activate an internal high-pitch piezo buzzer to get the attention of the staff or security personnel in the vicinity. The said piezo buzzer is an augmented audible alert device that is also activated when a door sensor is triggered.
Reliable Power Backup
For continuous operation during an AC power interruption, or in the absence of AC Mains power, a maintenance-free storage battery complete with automatic charger and management function is included in the SACP to provide DC backup supply to the system.
Intuitive User Interaction
User interface on the front panel of the SACP includes LED indicators that allow quick visual check on the status of the battery, door sensors, as well as the alarm devices.
In addition, a set of six (6) local push button switches is also provided to facilitate access to the different system control functions like, initiating a General Alarm, Silencing the alarm, conducting Lamp Test on the LED indicators, temporarily Disarming a zone or door, and Clearing any previously detected alarms or device fault or trouble. The push button switches are secure by a cam lock on the panel door, to prevent unauthorized acces
